Your care team

Every consultation is conducted by a qualified, licensed healthcare provider. Here's what that means for you.

Board-certified providers

Your assessment is reviewed by a licensed physician or nurse practitioner with expertise in weight management and metabolic health.

Licensed in your state

Telehealth regulations require state-specific licensing. Your provider is fully licensed to practice in the state where you live.

Ongoing relationship

This isn't a one-and-done prescription. Your provider follows your progress, adjusts treatment, and is available when you have questions.

Common questions about the process

How long does the assessment take?

Most people complete it in about 5 minutes. You’ll answer questions about your health history, current medications, weight loss goals, and lifestyle. No payment is required to start.

What if I’m not approved?

Not everyone is a candidate for Zepbound. If your provider determines it’s not appropriate for you, they’ll explain why and may suggest alternatives. You won’t be charged for the consultation if no prescription is written.

Is Zepbound the same as Mounjaro?

Both contain the same active ingredient (tirzepatide) manufactured by Eli Lilly. Mounjaro is approved for type 2 diabetes, while Zepbound is specifically FDA-approved for chronic weight management.

Do I need to inject myself?

Yes, Zepbound is a once-weekly subcutaneous injection using a pre-filled pen. It’s designed to be simple and virtually painless. Your care team will walk you through the process before your first dose.

Can I message my provider between check-ins?

Absolutely. You’ll have direct access to your care team for questions about side effects, dosing, or anything else related to your treatment.
