How we find the right medication & lowest cost
Most telehealth platforms hand you a prescription and leave you to figure out the rest. We do the insurance and pricing work for you.
Insurance verified first
Before you fill out a single medical question, we check what your insurance covers. This means your provider already knows which medications are most affordable for you when they make their recommendation.
Provider selects your medication
Your licensed provider reviews your health profile and recommends the GLP-1 medication that fits — Zepbound, Foundayo, or Wegovy. Tirzepatide (Zepbound/Foundayo) is typically the first recommendation for its superior clinical outcomes.
We find the lowest cost
Based on your insurance, we direct you to the right savings program — the Zepbound Savings Card (as low as $25/fill), Wegovy Savings Card (as low as $0/mo), or LillyDirect self-pay for uninsured patients ($299–$449/mo).
Your care team
Every consultation is conducted by a qualified, licensed healthcare provider. Here's what that means for you.
Board-certified providers
Your assessment is reviewed by a licensed physician or nurse practitioner with expertise in weight management and metabolic health.
Licensed in your state
Telehealth regulations require state-specific licensing. Your provider is fully licensed to practice in the state where you live.
Ongoing relationship
This isn't a one-and-done prescription. Your provider follows your progress, adjusts treatment, and is available when you have questions.
Common questions about the process
How long does the assessment take?
Most people complete it in about 5 minutes. You’ll answer questions about your health history, current medications, weight loss goals, and lifestyle. No payment is required to start.
What’s the difference between Zepbound and Wegovy?
Both are FDA-approved GLP-1 medications for weight loss. Zepbound (tirzepatide) targets two receptors — GLP-1 and GIP — and produced up to 22.5% body weight reduction in clinical trials. Wegovy (semaglutide) targets GLP-1 only and produced up to 17% weight loss. Your provider will recommend the best option based on your health profile and insurance. If your plan specifically covers Wegovy, that may be the most affordable choice even if tirzepatide has stronger clinical outcomes.
Do I need to inject myself?
It depends on your medication. Zepbound and Wegovy are once-weekly subcutaneous injections using a pre-filled pen — designed to be simple and virtually painless. Foundayo (tirzepatide oral) is a once-daily tablet for patients who prefer to avoid injections entirely.
What if I’m not approved?
Not everyone is a candidate for GLP-1 medications. If your provider determines treatment isn’t appropriate for you, they’ll explain why. You won’t be charged for the consultation if no prescription is written.
Is Zepbound the same as Mounjaro?
Both contain the same active ingredient (tirzepatide) by Eli Lilly. Mounjaro is FDA-approved for type 2 diabetes, while Zepbound is specifically approved for chronic weight management.
Can I message my provider between check-ins?
Absolutely. You’ll have direct access to your care team for questions about side effects, dosing, or anything else related to your treatment.
