A closer look at each step

We designed the process to be straightforward and transparent. Here's exactly what to expect.

1

Complete your online assessment

About 5 minutes

A short health questionnaire helps your provider understand your medical history, weight loss goals, and which medication may be right for you.

  • Basic health information (age, height, weight, BMI)
  • Medical history and current medications
  • Previous weight loss attempts and goals
  • Lifestyle factors and health conditions
  • No payment required to start your assessment
2

Provider review

Within 24–48 hours

A board-certified provider licensed in your state reviews your assessment, checks for contraindications, and decides whether GLP-1 treatment is appropriate.

  • Review by a board-certified provider licensed in your state
  • Evaluation of BMI, health history, and contraindications
  • Medication recommendation: Zepbound or Wegovy
  • Secure, HIPAA-compliant medical review process
  • Direct messaging if your provider needs more information
3

Prescription & shipment

Ready within 3–5 business days

If approved, your provider writes a prescription that’s sent directly to LillyDirect (Zepbound) or NovoCare Pharmacy (Wegovy) for shipment to your door at the manufacturer’s self-pay rate — or to a local pharmacy you choose for pickup.

  • Zepbound® (tirzepatide) ships from LillyDirect at Eli Lilly’s self-pay rate
  • Wegovy® (semaglutide) ships from NovoCare Pharmacy at Novo Nordisk’s self-pay rate
  • Prefer to pick up locally? Choose any pharmacy you like at intake
  • Prescription transmitted electronically to whichever pharmacy you select
  • No insurance billing, no prior-authorization waits
4

Ongoing care & support

Throughout your treatment

Your care doesn’t stop at the first prescription. You’re assigned a single provider who stays with you for the full lifecycle of your treatment — no rotating telehealth pool. They monitor your progress, adjust dosing, and are available for questions along the way.

  • One dedicated provider for the entire treatment — the same person every visit
  • Scheduled provider check-ins and progress reviews
  • Dosage titration based on your response and tolerance
  • Side effect management and guidance
  • Direct messaging with your care team
  • Monthly clinical check-ins before each refill is written

How direct-pay GLP-1 access works

No insurance billing, no prior authorizations, no markup. Your prescription goes straight from your provider to the manufacturer’s pharmacy.

Free eligibility check first

Before you complete the full assessment, a quick screen confirms you're a candidate based on BMI and basic health criteria. No payment, no commitment — most people finish in under five minutes.

Provider selects your medication

Your licensed provider reviews your health profile and recommends the GLP-1 medication that fits — Zepbound or Wegovy. Tirzepatide (Zepbound) is typically the first recommendation for its superior clinical outcomes.

Ship to your door — or pick up locally

Your prescription routes to LillyDirect for Zepbound ($299–$499/mo) or NovoCare Pharmacy for Wegovy ($199–$399/mo) and ships to your door at the manufacturer's published rate — or to a local pharmacy you choose for pickup. No insurance billing, no markup.

Your care team

Every consultation is conducted by a qualified, licensed healthcare provider. Here's what that means for you.

Board-certified providers

Your assessment is reviewed by a licensed nurse practitioner or physician with expertise in weight management and metabolic health.

Licensed in your state

Telehealth regulations require state-specific licensing. Your provider is fully licensed to practice in the state where you live.

Ongoing relationship

This isn't a one-and-done prescription. Your provider follows your progress, adjusts treatment, and is available when you have questions.

Common questions about the process

How long does the assessment take?

Most people complete it in about 5 minutes. You’ll answer questions about your health history, current medications, weight loss goals, and lifestyle. No payment is required to start.

What’s the difference between Zepbound and Wegovy?

Both are FDA-approved GLP-1 medications for weight loss. Zepbound (tirzepatide) targets two receptors — GLP-1 and GIP — and produced up to 22.5% body weight reduction in clinical trials. Wegovy (semaglutide) targets GLP-1 only and produced up to 17% weight loss. Your provider will recommend the best option based on your health profile and tolerance.

Do I need to inject myself?

Yes. Zepbound and Wegovy are once-weekly subcutaneous injections using a pre-filled pen — designed to be simple and virtually painless.

What if I’m not approved?

Not everyone is a candidate for GLP-1 medications. If your provider determines treatment isn’t appropriate for you, they’ll explain why in your dashboard. Your $99 monthly subscription won’t begin unless a prescription is written — so you’re not charged for a treatment you’re not receiving.

Is Zepbound the same as Mounjaro?

Both contain the same active ingredient (tirzepatide) by Eli Lilly. Mounjaro is FDA-approved for type 2 diabetes, while Zepbound is specifically approved for chronic weight management.

Can I message my provider between check-ins?

Absolutely. You’ll have direct access to your care team for questions about side effects, dosing, or anything else related to your treatment.

Ready to take the first step?
